The School of Mathematics, Computer Science & Engineering is a multidisciplinary centre of study and research, located in the heart of London’s vibrant design community. It was an excellent performer in the REF 2014 and has strong industrial links.
It is proud of its record of making valuable research advances and of educating thousands of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering has over 400 undergraduate students studying on several MEng and BEng programmes, 100 postgraduate (MSc) students and over 90 research students.
Research is conducted in three research centres: Systems and Control; Biomedical Engineering; and Photonics and Instrumentation. The Department has a long tradition of research and education excellence and is committed to continuing to improve the content of its programmes.
The School invites applications from outstanding academics for a Lectureship in Biomedical Engineering.
The appointed Lecturer will undertake world-leading or internationally excellent research in Biomedical Engineering and will contribute to the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
An excellent track record of research in biomedical electronics and medical device encapsulation and fabrication is preferable. However, applications from candidates with expertise in biomedical signal processing or biomechanics will also be considered.
